While in orthodontic treatment, a patient must be seen every
six to eight weeks for appliance adjustments in order to stay
on schedule for treatment. We appreciate your effort to be on
time for your appointments. If we are running behind it is
because we are giving every patient our best effort, as we will
do for you when your adjustment is being done. Late arrivals
will usually need to be rescheduled if the patient is 10
minutes late.
If you are unable to make your orthodontic appointment please
call our office as soon as possible so we may reschedule you.
Please realize that a missed appointment will be rescheduled
for 4-6 weeks in the future. After three no-shows the patient
will be charged a fee.
We work hard to minimize emergencies with your help. Should you
have broken appliances, please give our office a call so we may
get you in at the earliest possible time. Please do not just
drop by the office to have your appliance fixed. If any real
emergency develops after office hours, please feel free to call
the doctor at his home number.
Our normal patient days are Monday through Thursday with the
hours being as
follows...Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm, closed for
lunch from 12:00pm to
1:00pm, Thursdays 7:30am-4:00pm, closed for
lunch from 12:00pm-12:30pm. Friday is
an administrative day and of course the phone is
answered and payments can be made, and we
also have staff members available for any emergencies you
may have.
We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.. The cost of
treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. You
will be able to discuss fees and payment options before
treatment begins. The treatment fee does NOT include charges
made by your regular dentist or oral surgeon for work rendered
by either of them prior to, during, or after orthodontic
treatment. We have payment plans to suit different budgets. We
also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and file the
necessary papers to the insurance company. If you have
insurance, we will help you determine the coverage you have
available. Our office is happy to cooperate with patients who
have insurance; however, we do ask the following:
- Please read your policy book and/or talk to your
benefits director to be fully aware of any limits or
exclusions.
- The Financial Coordinator will only file the patients
primary insurance. If a patient has secondary insurance,
the responsible party will need to submit the claim to the
secondary insurance. Our Financial Coordinator will assist
if you have any questions.
- The responsible party must notify the Financial
Coordinator if the patients insurance company changes or if
the insurance policy is terminated.
In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining
the highest level of professional care, we have established
this financial policy:
- To fit your individual needs, financial arrangements
can be made to extend your payments over a period of months
as discussed in our Financial Options.
- For your convenience, we accept payment by VISA,
MASTERCARD, DISCOVER and AMERICAN EXPRESS.
- In cases of serious delinquency, treatment will be
discontinued, although we will make every effort to
accommodate patients with temporary difficulties.
Please feel free to ask questions any time. Our staff is
dedicated to helping you achieve the best possible smile. Lets
work together so our goals can be achieved in a pleasant and
rewarding manner.
